  • 1: Assessment stage

    During this stage, your skin is assessed to understand its status right now, what it needs and how to treat it.

    The assessment takes place during a consultation or in a Skin Instant Lab-session.

  • 2: Initialization stage

    During this stage, the skin is carefully cleansed and balanced. Any inpurities are removed, the pH-level is balanced.

    In this stage, our cleansers, exfoliators and masks are used, preparing the skin for the treatment stage.

  • 3: The treatment stage

    During this stage, the skins concerns are adressed with products such as serums and creams. These products contain the highest concentration of active ingredients.

How your Skin Instant is defined

    How does your skin feel at this very moment? Do you need something soothing? Or has the weather been a bit tough lately and you're in need of some repairing and caring treatment?

  • How does your lifestyle look like?

    When performing a consultation, we bring your lifestyle into consideration as it affects your skin, inside and out. Do you live a very high pace lifestyle in an urban environment? Do you get enough of water? How do you sleep? These are just a few of the questions we adress in order to understand your skin.

  • Your current skincare routine

    Your current skincare routine is adressed to find an explanation on why your skin might behave or react in a certain way.

Skin Instant Lab

We offer an extended consultation called Skin Instant Lab. This consultation is developed by Biologique Recherche and measures the skin in different ways such as hydration levels and sebum production. It is a highly effective tool to understand your skin beyond what's visible and to give you an ever more precise recommendation on treatments and skincare routine.

Q&A about skin analysis

How often do I need to get my skin consulted?

The average recommendation is every 6th month at least as the skin changes a lot during the seasons. It might be a good idea to get a consultation before the summer season to adjust your routine to something lighter yet protective. When fall arrives, do another consultation to prepare the skin for colder weather.

What does the consultation cost?

Our consultations are always for free. Skin Instant Lab is 500 SEK but free of charge when purchasing products.

How do I get my skin consulted?

We offer consultations online by video and in person at our clinic. Click here to make an appointment.

Can I wear makeup?

Usually, it's not a problem. However, if your makeup is high coverage, it might be difficult for us to fully evaluate your skin. The best option is if you visit us without any makeup. You are always welcome to use our mirrors if you wish to apply your makeup after the consultation is done.

For video consultations, we recommend to not wear any makeup.

Can I buy products without a skin analysis?

The short answer is yes as we can't stop anyone from ordering the products without a recommendation.

However, as the products from Biologique Recherche are highly active and tailored to specific needs, we highly recommend to schedule a consultation first. The consultations covers not only your skin and its needs but also personalized recommendations on how to use a certain product and with which frequency in order to ge the results you are looking for.

I have an allergy, how do I know which product to use?

We recommend you to schedule a consultation as any allergies will be adressed by the skin therapist and taken in consideration when recommending products to you.
